DROP TABLE IF EXISTS t1;
 
CREATE TABLE t1 (a TINYINT) ENGINE=ColumnStore;
 
INSERT INTO t1 VALUES (-1);
 
SELECT LEFT('abc',a) FROM t1;

Looks wrong. The expected result is:

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS t1;
 
CREATE TABLE t1 (a TINYINT) ENGINE=InnoDB;
 
INSERT INTO t1 VALUES (-1);
 
SELECT LEFT('abc',a) FROM t1;
