 Description   

StorageManager has NO output to the logging when using in a non systemd/journalctl environment like Docker containers and there is no practical way to determine the problem without some output.

The latter (as the text says). This means either

  • dockers, or
  • on prem but without system (I am not sure such things still exist)

Build tested: 6.1.1 ( Drone #2619 )

Verified rsyslog is installed and logging is working for the following supported distributions:
Centos7 Centos8 Debian 9, Debian 10, Opensuse 15, Ubuntu18, Ubuntu20.
