In the install document, there is a step to restart the system after the cross engine join configuration has been updated. BUT the system hasnt been completely installed yet. Post-install and postCOnfiguration hasnt been run. This needs to be removed. https://mariadb.com/docs/deploy/single-columnstore/ Then, save the file and restart MariaDB ColumnStore: $ sudo mcsadmin restartSystem Post-Installation |

We fixed this at some point. The current documentation says to perform the restart after the post-install and postConfigure steps. |
