When killing the DBRMWorkerNode or DBRMControllerNode processes through SIGTERM or SIGKILL `mcsadmin getsystemstatus` still shows that the module and system is in an ACTIVE state, even though DML and DDL aren't possible anymore. |

I don't recommend ever doing that. That is sort-of like saying "when I rip the CPU out of my computer with my bare hands the power light stays on". |
