For QA: not really much to test here. I suspect things like using a function such as lpad() with LONGTEXT with UTF8 would cause a crash before this patch. |

Build verified: 1.4.1-1 Unable to reproduce a crash in 1.2.5-1 using the lpad(). Verified by regression with Autopilot test suite funcForText instead. |
