There should be a utility that allows for reading and dumping out in parsable for a column store file. This is useful for troubleshooting as well as providing a pseudo api on the column store data files. The utility should take arguments:
It would be desirable to avoid the need for specifying a column datatype but this would require connecting to the column store server to read metadata. Options for this should be investigated. |
