 Description

Reported by stephane@skysql.com:

Upgrading from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 RPMs in CentOS 7 leaves glibc and libnl in /usr/local/mariadb/columnstore/lib

This breaks the columnstore binaries as they search this path first to meet dependencies before searching the OS paths.

Workaround is to remove these libs manually.

Note that I have not been able to reproduce this yet. At best I get dangling symlinks when installing 1.0.1 RPMs and then upgrading to 1.0.2 RPMs.

Only issue I have found so far is the "-server" RPM doesn't upgrade cleanly. The 1.0.1 RPM needs removing and the 1.0.2 RPM needs installing.

LinuxJedi If this is not an issue for 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 upgrade - can we close it ?

This is an old issue.
