 Description   
  1. Changing the test scripts (test.sh or test.ps1) from PDI 7 to PDI 8 reveals that the variable substitution that works in PDI 7 doesn't work in PDI 8. Therefore all tests of the test suite fail with a NullPointerException (cf. attachment) when using PDI 8.

Fixed the variable substitution

For QA:

  • MCOL-1606, MCOL-1643, MCOL-1644 and MCOL-1578 can be tested together after the review is complete
  • run the regression test suite on Windows and Linux
  • test that the CS PDI connector block in PDI 7.1 and PDI 8.1 is still functional
