 Description

PDI adapter and CDC adapter require columnstore.xml in order to connect to the nodes.
Currently there are 2 cases detected when the file doesn't provide needed information and it must be edited manually.
Manual editing of this file during setup of the adapter connectivity to CS is a prerequisite for human mistakes and errors during setup.

1. Case of standalone ColumnStore installation
The columnstore.xml file contains only 127.0.0.1 IPs in description of the server topology in the file. User must change all of the IPs to mach the real IP of the server in order to allow adapters to connect to it.

2. Case AWS installation using AMI - separate UM and PM
During this setup instances created in AWS receive public IP and private IP. The setup of the servers connectivity is based on the private IPs.
So columnstore.xml contains topology with private IPs.
If adapter is setup outside of the AWS or specific private subnet, this xml file must be edited and private IPs must be changed to the respective public IPs.

It will be good to find more stable and secure way to provide connection details (or CS topology) needed to the adapters to connect to the CS.

CDC adapter will be deprecated and phased out.
