 Description   

Now that MCOL-1133 is fixed we should remove the temporary fix in the Spark connector to use the native conversion of floating point numbers.

For QA:
1. In the API tree follow the instructions in spark-connctor/python/README.md to get the dependencies
2. Compile the API as normal but with the extra cmake option -DSPARK_CONNECTOR=ON
3. Run "make test"
