 Description   

[justin@eschaton1 ssb-dbgen]$ alias|grep mcs
alias ma='/usr/local/mariadb/columnstore/bin/mcsadmin'
alias mcsadmin='/usr/local/mariadb/columnstore/bin/mcsadmin'
alias mcsmysql='/usr/local/mariadb/columnstore/mysql/bin/mysql --defaults-file=/usr/local/mariadb/columnstore/mysql/my.cnf -u root'

shell scripts should be provided, and they should use normal mysql arguments. if default user should be root, customer can use ~/.my.cnf or global my.cnf to set default user.

not a issue, is user wants to setup a password then they can create a new alias or change the existing one
