Also, I think "Jira issue tracker" on the documentation's Bugs page is incorrect: `https://mariadb.jira.org/` which should be `https://jira.mariadb.org/`.

Hi Jens,

thank you for your bug report. Documentation is already fixed, for analyzing the bug(s) I need some more information:

  • Version of Connector/C. You can check it from commandline with python3.9 -c "import mariadb;print(mariadb.mariadbapi_version)"
  • Can you provide some more infomation, e.g. tcpdump (pcap) which contains the failing statements? Also general query log from server would be helpful.

I wonder why first exception doesn't contain an error message?!
