While pip / PyPi is obviously very useful, it would also be useful to have the mariadb connector package available through conda / conda-forge channel. I.e. it would be useful if we could install it like this:

I'd recommend focusing efforts on core features for the time being and less on widening the radius of dependency/package manager support for Python, unless was blocking deals and/or prospects. |
