 Description   
  • when getting a connection, driver must ensure connection state with a COM_PING if not used for some time
  • have a real connection timeout and must return an error if no connection is available during this timeout.
  • pool must wait at least a few cycles if pool is full to wait for a connection release + on pool creation, pool must fill connection
  • have an option to avoid using connection after not been used for some time (to avoid breaking connection after @wait_timeout)"
