 Description

Free open source Windows CI https://ci.appveyor.com/signup/free

The config is a yaml file that seems to contain much of the same primitives as Travis-CI (MDEV-6262)

Example build output: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rmcgibbo/python-appveyor-conda-example

Yes, CI has to be improve :

  • actually doesn't run on windows
  • internally tested with buildbot to test against multi-db (like galera) for not accessible to external.

Better to wait a few month for that because docker Windows images seems to be release for the end of year.
If it's confirm, better to switch the current travis implementation to use docker so it use ubuntu and windows.
Docker images will permit to handle that a better way, and even use multi-DB docker image.

So all contribution will be better tested.

fair call. I just found it. Supporting one/two CI is always better than supporting two/three.
