 Description   

This is somehow related to MDEV-11956 .
Not only MariaDB Server doesn't return GTIDs in OK packet, but also the Connector/C doesn't support it

I found your proxysql post regarding this issue from 2018.

I believe that MDEV-15477 implements this feature. Did you ever confirm?

MDEV-5477 returns last_gid if specified in session_track_system_variables server variable.
