error in CHARACTER_SET variable

    Description

      Hello,

      we have been setting max scale 1.2.0 and we get a lot of errors in the error.log file like

      Error : Failed to execute SET CHARACTER_SET ut in 192.168.xxx.xxxx:3306. HY000 Unknown system variable 'CHARACTER_SET'

      Do you have some suggestions for us?
