    Description

In MariaDB, when the PAM plugin is enabled, if the "authentication_string" on the user object in the mysql.user table is empty, MariaDB defaults to looking for a pam file called "mysql".

In MaxScale, if no "authentication_string" is found, it defaults to looking for a pam file called "other".
