    Description

      Using CentOS/RHEL 6 or 7, only zlib is bundled with the CentOS/RHEL packages. For production servers, it is not usually an option to build from source because it complicates upgrades in medium and large environments. Including some of the better compression algorithms into the main build would increase utilization across the industry and make MariaDB look better.
