    Description

      my box shows lower_case_table_names=1

      show variables like 'lower_case_table%';
      +------------------------+-------+
      | Variable_name          | Value |
      +------------------------+-------+
      | lower_case_table_names | 1     |
      +------------------------+-------+

      but, the column names are store in mixed case. The manual says that when this variable is equal to 1, everything should be stored in lower-case and compared in case-insensitive manner.
