Performance Degredation between 10.5.8 and 10.5.9

We have been having issues with aborted connections on MariaDB 10.5.6 and 10.5.8 and saw that 10.5.9 was released. Since we are not quite in production yet, I decided to see how 10.5.9 would fair. Upon upgrading, our I/O performance degraded precipitously ~66%.

This is mainly a heads-up ticket. I would need direction from the MariaDB team if you would like me to capture some data on 10.5.9. I've only got a week before going into production and it's looking like 10.5.8.
