          Despite what MDEV-14118 says, though, this happened:

          Error 'Table 'database.temp_table' doesn't exist' on query. Default database: 'database'. Query: 'ALTER TABLE temp_table ADD index x (id)'

          This a mysql5.5 -> mariadb 10.3.18 -> mariadb 10.3.18, it fails when mariadb is the master but not when mysql is the master.
