Include user-defined variables in Audit Plugin output

For the MariaDB Audit Plugin, user information is of little help when using a connection pool. If the audit output could be amended to include one or more user-defined session variables, we could set variables when a connection is checked out from the pool, and then have that information included in the audit logs. Seems like a very small change that could be of great significance.
