The current mcsadmin Redistribute command gives little feedback as to what it will do and what it is doing. The API in WriteEngine server needs to be enhanced so that users can see the redistribute plan – what partitions will be moved where, and the STATUS command can show what partitions have been moved, which are being moved now, and which have yet to be moved.

The WriteEngine API has a command to CLEAR the run. Currently, this is called automatically before the START API command is sent. Do we want to make it a separate call, as it was in InfiniDB Enterprise?
