mcsapi lock retry feature

I would personally like something like:

 d.createBulkInsert("test", "t1", (short)0, 0, 100, 5);

Where, we retry upto 100 times, with a 5ms delay between each attempt.
The lock test would force the user to do the same..imho..if locked..wait..try again..etc..
